Is it possible to connect the PLM via a serial to IP converter over Ethernet, like a Global Cache IP2SL Ethernet to Serial Converter? It would add a lot of flexibility on where to install the PLM vs, where the controller is located. Also, RS-232 ports are more of less going away from today's SFF computers, like the Intel NUC.
