Issue with remote desktop connection - Solved!

Ive been trying the kinect voice. I have HS running on a win 10 machine that ive also connected the kinect to. I usually just use remote desktop from my ordinary pc to control the pc running HS.

My problem is that when i log onto the HS computer directly everything works just fine, but if i connect to it thru remote desktop connection voice recognition doesnt work. I've checked in the control panel under sound and the kinect micropphone isnt there when using remote desktop.

Any ideas?

Just a quick note about this issue - I tried the solution in the post Spud referred to, but it didn't work (maybe a Win10 issue?), however, running this as a batch/command script (with admin rights) on the remote computer works:

tscon 1 /dest:console

Worked fine for me. Both computers running win 10.

I use the free TeamViewer for remote control of my HS3 computer and two mini desktops each with a Kinect attached and the speech client installed. That works just fine.
