The RFXCOM is directly connected to a Windows 7 system?

Did you install the latest FTDI drivers?

You run Windows7 on a system and not on a Virtual Machine?

Is Serial Enumerator selected for the RFXCOM and Plugwise USB ports?
Check Device Manager - Properties - Advanced - Serial Enumerator

This is a driver problem so you don't need to reinstall Homeseer or the RFXCOM plug-in.

Is Plugwise also using the FTDI driver?

Try to remove both USB ports from the system and select also delete of the driver.
              Disconnect both USB cables.
Now install the latest FTDI driver: http://www.ftdichip.com/FTDrivers.htm
Connect Plugwise and after that the RFXCOM.

If plugwise is also using the FTDI and you still have a problem please contact FTDI support.

I'm sorry but I can't help you with this problem as the problem is not related to the RFXCOM plug-in or RFXCOM device.

Is plugwise also using the FTDI?
In that case contact FTDI support.
If plugwise does not use the FTDI please contact plugwise.
