    Modification History ASP

Sometimes it's nice to know when you upgraded or made a system change. Here is an ASP that will track your modifications.

    Instructions:
    1. Copy the ModHistory.asp to the HTML folder
    2. Copy the check image to the HTML/images folder
    3. Run the asp

EDIT: Jeez, I seem to have a problem posting in the correct forum. For some reason my cookies keep getting cleared and I cannot find what is doing it. When I go to post my message, I'm not logged in. When I log in, I'm in the wrong forum. Doh! Anyway, I can't seem to locate how to delete a post under "Edit". Can anyone help so that I can move this into the right forum?

    Thanks,

          Hi Tom,

It doesn't monitor anything. It's just a quick way to manually log changes to the system to that there's a record of what you did and when. I've actually never used it, but converted it from HS2 to HS3 for another HS user. I plan to start using it now though

          Cheers

            Dear HS Diary....

Al, this is really great to keep track of changes. I've started using it. It will really help when you want to back track. Like when I updated the z-net. I don't remember exactly when and log search bring up too many result.

In any case thanks for doing this!!

Attached is an updated version of ModHistory (now ASPX) that works with both Windows and full Linux versions of HS3.

              Enjoy!
