Jon - as you say SURPRISE!

Have you tested this alongside a joypad? I have had hassles previously with HID devices living together....

And, as a bonus, I see you support the minibee too! I assume its 1/4 of a maxi?

If you do have a joypad to plugin and test, I would be very much appreciative!

Question now I guess, is do I buy 2 miniBee's or a maxi plus two ribbon cables and two driver boards.... hmm... a man can never have enough I/O....

        Jon...more thoughts....

Will the script support two maxi boards... (stop laughing...)

I assume the script created its own device codes and therefore will be limited to 99 devices per code....

Wow - what a barrage of emails from you David! Can't a man go out on a Saturday night!

Unfortunately, there is no way to address more than one Maxi-bee and one Mini-Bee at this time.

I have not tested this with a joy-pad.

            SORRY!

Just ordered a maxibee plus a couple of driver IC's so I can make up my own board to drive relays...

              Just a quick question:
I'm not an electronics expert, in fact I'm very far from it.

Can I use the Maxi-Bee to light som LEDs? (64 of them)?
What else can it be used for?

HSPro 3.0.0.458, Z-NET with Z-wave plugin 3.0.1.190, RFXCOM + 2x RFXtrx433E, HSTouch, Squeezebox plugin, iTach IP/WF2IR & GC-100-6 with UltraGCIR, BLDenon, NetcamStudio, Jon00s Webpage builder, Harmony Hub plugin, SCSIP (with FreePBX), Arduino plugin, IFTTT, Pushalot plugin, Device History plugin.
Running on Windows 10 (64) virtualized
on ESXi (Fujitsu Primergy TX150 S8).

The outputs are low current CMOS. You can light LED's directly (add a 1K series resistor to each LED).

If you want to drive relays etc, you can also purchase driver boards from the same company (and ribbon cable interconnections).

                  Excellent!

I'm still not quite sure what you're talking about, but your excellent plugin has convinced me to get a Maxi-Bee board.

I'm sure I'll figure it out.

I'm sure we can help you with this!

The driver board I am talking about is here:

                    http://www.pc-control.co.uk/bee_driver_details.htm

You would need 4 of them to give you 56 outputs & several LED indicators. In addition you would need 4 ribbon cables to interconnect the driver boards to the Maxi-bee:

                    http://pc-control.co.uk/osc/product_...products_id=40

                    Hope that helps.

                      That helped!
The MaxiBee are cables are on the way.

Now to see if I can find a norwegian supplier of LEDs and resistors. If I can't find any, do you have any "international" to recommend?

                      Thanks for your help!

                        Moskus

I've just bought some LED's from an E-bay shop here in the UK.

                        http://stores.ebay.co.uk/component-shop

but I've also bought from various other e-bay shops with out any hassle.

Here is a test circuit which you can use without the driver board. The LED will not be very bright due to the low current output available.

I have a Minibee and it seems to be working ok with Stipus's direct input plugin installed, i just disabled Minibee in the direct input conf.

                              Hi

Yes, I have the MaxiBee connected alongside 108 devices from the DI plugin... and all is well.

I was going to suggest to the developer of the maxibee that the HID description was changed to something better than "PIC"!

As you say, disable it in the DI setup and it co-exists fine.

Did you notice the resources that DI sees on the Bee?
