  • I am thinking I need to write BLPhone

I have a way2call that I still want to use with HS3 and Rich has said he does not see HSPhone getting done for HS3 (which is a shame because before he said it would be done)

I rely on my way2call so I am thinking I need to write BLPhone for HS3.

If there still a high demand for this?
    Cheers,
    Bob

Yes - I would be interested. I would also be interested in this running on Linux.

First I've heard the HST isn't going to port HSPhone to HS3, pretty concerning considering the price I paid for the upgrade and the fact that HST said it would be ported. Where did you here this?

Also, I use it with the HomeSeer PCI modem. Will you support it as well?

          Thanks

This is something I'd be interested in.

I have a W2C but in HS2 I wasn't able to get it to work well with my VIOP ATA (OBI110). I was using Google Voice with it at the time though and that may have had something to do with it. although Pete said he had the same situation working. So maybe it was my W2c since I bought it used from a member here on the board.

Would you also be supporting USB modems for CallerID?

Really what's most important to me is CallerID and a phone book of contacts.

From Rich himself. I have seen it mentioned on the forums as well

Not sure there are linux drivers for the w2c

I think this is a very good idea and hopefully there are enough users still using home phones to warrant the update. I know as time passes the number of land lines is declining drastically.

That is my only worry. Is there enough people to make it worthwhile.

A poll may be easier to visualize the interest.

                        Yeah; that would be great.

I have multiple phone lines and a few W2C boxes plus still have the older HS PCI modem.

I am currently using the W2C boxes on two lines only which is a PITA. I can auto switch what lines are doing what though....

Noticed yesterday that telemarketers are changing their tactics relating to CID and phone numbers which is getting really to be a PITA.

Definitely! Can't go to HS3 without it!

yeah you'll get plenty of demand for this one. To be honest you will produce a product much quicker and of a much higher quality that what we'd get from HST anyway. I'm in.
