    Error msg from Performance monitor

I am getting the following error about every 5 min. The Performance monitor worked great for 3 weeks, no changes to the system. Any suggestions. Restarting the system does not reslove it. Thanks for any suggestions.

You just need to replace the script.

After the last update I am now receiving this error:

9/10/2007 5:44:37 AM - Jon00_Perf - Error within Sub Main at block 2 (Category does not exist.)

Is this happening all the time or just an occasional entry in the log?

                Thom,

I have no idea what is causing this especially if it was working before. I have not changed the code in these areas since the first release.

The error is basically stating that it cannot find the performance counter to obtain the data from. All I can suggest is a PC reboot to see if it clears the issue.

                          Thom,

There is no fault with the script. For some reason it has lost access to the standard performance counters (on your PC) used to read the data from. I have no resolution for this.

My only thought, do you use any other program/script/plugin that monitors performance?

                            Jon,

No I do not use any other monitor. Can I disable the error message some how. All is working fine and the graphs are updating fine.

                            Thanks

                            Thom

                              Thom,

I'm most surprised that it is working correctly. Can you show a screen shot of the graphs?

The errors you are getting are caused by the System committed Memory and System CPU usage. You can disable them but not suppress the errors.
