    NOAAWeather Script Error

This may have come up before but I can't find anything on the forum. Every now and again the error below shows up in the log. Being a nonprogrammer I have no idea what this means or how to stop it in the future.

1/19/2008 10:28:07 AM Error Scripting runtime error: System.Reflection.TargetInvocationException: Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation. ---> System.InvalidCastException: Conversion from string "N/A" to type 'Double' is not valid. ---> System.FormatException: Input string was not in a correct format. at Microsoft.VisualBasic.CompilerServices.Conversions.ParseDoub le(String Value, NumberFormatInfo NumberFormat) at Microsoft.VisualBasic.CompilerServices.Conversions.ToDouble( String Value, NumberFormatInfo NumberFormat) --- End of inner exception stack trace --- at Microsoft.VisualBasic.CompilerServices.Conversions.ToDouble( String Value, NumberFormatInfo NumberFormat) at Microsoft.VisualBasic.CompilerServices.Conversions.ToDouble( String Value) at scriptcode2.scriptcode2.Main(Object parm) --- End of inner exception stack trace --- at System.RuntimeMethodHandle._InvokeMethodFast(Object target, Object[] arguments, SignatureStruct& sig, MethodAttributes methodAttributes, RuntimeTypeHandle typeOwner) at System.RuntimeMethodHandle.InvokeMethodFast(Object target, Object[] arguments, Signature sig, MethodAttributes methodAttributes, RuntimeTypeHandle typeOwner) at System.Reflection.RuntimeMethodInfo.Invoke(Object obj, BindingFlags invokeAttr, Binder binder, Object[] parameters, CultureInfo culture, Boolean skipVisibilityChecks) at System.Reflection.RuntimeMethodInfo.Invoke(Object obj, BindingFlags invokeAttr, Binder binder, Object[] parameters, CultureInfo culture) at System.Reflection.MethodBase.Invoke(Object obj, Object[] parameters) at Scheduler.VsaScriptHost.Invoke(String ModuleName, String MethodName, Object[] Arguments)1/19/2008 10:28:06 AM Info Running script in background: NOAAWeather.vb

Also this error shows up somtimes as well. When this error shows the icon for wind direction does not display. But most of the time it does.

    1/19/2008 10:37:16 AM Error Web Server Error 404, cannot serve file: C:\Program Files\HomeSeer 2\html/images/NOAAWeather/r:1/19/2008 10:37:16 AM ERROR InTCPSendFile: File 'C:\Program Files\HomeSeer 2\html/images/NOAAWeather/r:' not found.

I have also attached the noaaweather.ini file. It looks a little strange. Is this file corrupt?

    Thanks in advance

It looks like it is trying to process some information it does not understand.

When I finish my current project, I'll take a look.

I need to re-visit several of my older VB.NET converted scripts as they did not have error trapping included.

            Jon00,

I received your e-mail and replaced the NOAAWeather.vb script with the one you sent. I will post a follow up after a few days of running.

Again thank you for your awesome and easy to use weather script.

            Jim

Jon00; wind direction icon working with newest script. Thank you
