      Jack,

The checkpop.ini file is backed up automatically every night so that is normal. The problem I suspect is that you installed this on the Hometroller and never saved the C-Drive.

Please re-install. The installer will backup your checkpop.ini file which you will need to rename back. Save the c-drive after installation and reboot. It should be OK after that.

            Jon,

Thank You for writing such a well written package. I have paid more for plugins that did much less and some that the license keys are sitting unused. Besides being extremely useful, it has a well accepted "coolness" factor. It has saved me from running to the computer several times thru the day waiting for an email response. I do need to look into the more advanced features, but just the basic TTS notification is extremely useful.

Not only is the variable announce time great but I added a condition to the recurring event that only lets the event run during "normal uptime" so in the morning after I am up the system reports within the 10 minute interval if I have had any email received overnight

Thanks for the comments Jack. This is still my favourite and has developed over several years to what you have now. As you have probably read, there are numerous options so please tread carefully!
