I've tried Sparkmans files and all is working fine here. Just check you are not blocking port 43 as that is required to access the whois servers.

Mine is correctly updating whois.aspx, it all looks fine. I just tested with a VPN as well as a port forwarding login. I am just getting the error two times whenever the script is run.

Looks like the ip address that it is sending to the whois server is not valid: Sending 169.254.108.245 to Whois Server
Not sure where it is getting that as that ip address does not appear anywhere in the whois.txt file.HS 4.2.8.0: 2134 Devices 1252 Events
