Looks like the drop downs work fine on a single line. Just not with other lines of buttons.

            Jon,

Has this fix made it on your board yet? I just downloaded the latest, and the instructions include an explicit warning about not using drop-downs on more than one line. The change log indicates the latest version is newer than the discussion you've had hear, but doesn't list this issue as being one of the changes.

              Steve,

There was an issue with drop downs not working with certain combinations of other lines. To fix this, you can now only use drop downs on one line (you can have as many as you like on that line). The version you have is therefore the latest.

                OK, thanks Jon.

Any hope that we will be able to use Drop Downs on multiple lines in the future? I can actually fit what I want on one line now, but it's a pretty long line. Either way - I'm still thrilled with this package!

Due to the cyclic programming of the script (multiple lines and buttons), java-script and forms, I kept getting java-script errors that I could not resolve easily without a total revamp. That would be quite a bit of work especially as drop downs menus were an afterthought!

                      Steve,

Did you get time to give this new version a spin?

                        Jon,

No, sorry. I'm actually on business travel in Washington D.C. right now. Most of my tinkering is limited to weekends. Sorry about that. Certainly if I would have tried it I would have sent you an email and posted something here. Knowing you, I bet it is fine and ready for prime time.

I'll give it a whirl on Saturday and report.

                          Jon,

I just did a quick test, and - at least in my setup - the mod worked fine. I now have a serveral drop down menus on one line, and a new one on the next line. The items in the new drop down seem to work fine.

                          Thanks again, Jon!
