    Homeseer Audio Control on Win7

    Hi all,

Does anybody know if Jon00's audio control is working on a win7 machine?
I want to control my music and HS speaker seperatly thru the win7 mixer.

If memory serves me no it isn't working. This isn't surprising considering windows 7 made changes to prevent external programs the ability to easily manipulate the systems volume. It's possible but not easy.

To confirm, it does not work - the only thing it will do is operate the master volume in Win 7.

          Hi
It does not seem to adjst the master volume for me either. I guess it is not worth 'fixing'?

Do you know of any other idieas for audio control?

No, the audio interface for Windows 7 is completely different. What are you trying to do?

I'm trying to turn down the volume on my speaker client running on my homeseer pc at night, but still keep the volume of the hstouch clients loud.

The audio in Windows 7 is complex. Take a look at NirCmd which should work for you. In my Remote Computer Control, I use this utility to control the audio element due to the complexity.
