    Jone00 Whois error

    I realize this is an old plugin, and while I will remain on HS2 for a while yet, I'm seeing the following error in the log - though, it's not red.
    Any ideas?

    21/11/2014 6:12:11 PM Event Running script in background: Jon00Whois.vb("main","0")

    I am aware of this error, however have not done anything about it as I also run a unreleased Version 2 for HS2.

    It's not high on my list but maybe it would be better for V2 to be packaged up and made available. The error is caused by changes to the ARIN Whois pages.

        Right, however there is a second version for HS2 so lets call it Version 3

            Rob,

            I've had a quick look at this and found the issue.

            Open up Jon00Whois.vb in a text editor.

            Search for:

            Check=InStr(1,result,"(NET-",1)

            Change it to:

            Check=InStr(1,result,"(NETRange:",1)

            Than save.

            The error should be cleared.

                Well it's been some time now and I'm happy to report that your fix did it. I haven't seen any errors in a few weeks...

                Thanks Jon00
