I'm not sure, but think that i made it wright. This is what i have done:

IF This event is MANUALLY triggered
    Select "Control a Device"
From the Drop down select "Utility Jon00 DBChart Chart Manual Update"
    Select "Update [Create14]".

Finally run the event, but nothing happens. Even that i create another event, to trigger on 00:00:05 the 1st...
What happens if you run it manually now?
    Jon

Nothing happens, there's no changes on the chart.

Note that i run the event just for update the chart (see previous post), should i also try to manually update the database (in my case DBtable7)?

Yes, you need to update the database so that the update is recorded. If the data is correctly stored in the ini file, I don't really see the need for it to be updated 5 seconds past midnight for a monthly chart. Surely this could be 5 minutes past etc?
        Jon

Ok. I update the database and it worked. I also try, on another monthly graph, only to update the database and it automatically create the graph, without i need to manually create the chart.

You are right about the updated time...i knew I'll change it...

Did you copy the 3 Homeseer dll's into the same folder as the exe as per the documentation?

I truly feel like an idiot! I consider myself fairly detail oriented and I totally missed that in the documentation! There it is, clear as day!!!

Once I copied those three files, it worked... I am a moron...

I thank you for your time... I was literally spooling up a VM to test this on a "clean" homeseer install... I am a dork...

                Thank you!!!!

Can you guys give me some ideas: except for energy consumption?

I have a bunch of different sensors that give temperature.. I chart those:

                      - Zwave Leak sensor has a built in temp sensor
                      - Current Cost Energy meter has a temp sensor
                      - Thermostat has a temp sensor
                      - Oregon Scientific temp sensors
                      - Elk Alarm Keypads have temp sensors

Temperature in our Master Bedroom. One of the sensor is in a floor register and measures the temperature coming out of the HVAC unit. The other sensor is in the wall, and for comparison we graph the outside temperature.

Water heater temperature. I am testing with a NodeMCU and monitoring the temp of our water heater, top and bottom and both cold and hot water lines.

Jon's graphing application is highly configurable, very well documented and extremely useful.

Good luck and let us know if you have any questions.

                              Jon,

Is there a way to export raw data for a given chart from the database?

From the dynamic chart - Yes.

When you display the table showing the metrics, you can click on the Total Datapoints text link to download it in CSV format.
