    You have placed the tags below the wrong tag.

    Look for <system.web> NOT </system.web> (i.e. without the slash).

        Version 1.0.2 is now available:

        Changes since V1.0.1

        Added option to run an associated event for each ini file.
        Added scrolling to keep Save changes / Restore backup & Run associated event buttons in view at all times.
        Updated to work with both HS3 and HS4 correctly.

        Any issues, please let me know

              I am trying to use the iniEditor to edit your links.ini file but I don't see anything like an html tag anywhere in it. There is no "<" or ">" in the file at all. I just did it with notepad++.

              Thanks,

                It shows the problem submission in the first line of the stack trace. Just make the changes detailed if you don't want it to happen again.

                  I'm rebuilding my HSPro3 install and have installed you ini Editor. When I open it, I get the combo box to select an ini file. I can open an ini file, but I don't get the options to save or restore backups. See attached screen clip. Any ideas to fix it?

                    Most odd. Have you tried refreshing the page?

                      Yes. I cleared the browser cache too. I also tried different browsers and different machines. Same result.

                        I have no idea then. There is nothing in the code to exclude these buttons and I've tried the files in the download zip on 2 different Homeseer 3 instances and both work fine.

                        Do you use any browser extensions that could be causing this?

                          I have some extensions running on chrome, but nothing on Edge or IE. It's no big deal. I don't edit ini files that often anyway. If I get some time, I'll uninstall and reinstall the browsers and try it again.

                            Version 1.0.3 is now available which enhances readability of the ini file. For example, this may be useful if you prefer reading text on a dark background.

                            Changes since V1.0.2:

                            In addition to changing the font and font size, there are now new options to change the font color, background color and spacing between lines.
                            Added (optional) formatting to add a space before and after the = entry for easier reading of each entry.

                            Example:

                            Data=Hello World

                            becomes:

                            Data = Hello Word
