You posted in the wrong forum. This is the device list viewer rather than the device viewer and documenter (the two are similar I know!). However to answer your question see here: https://forums.homeseer.com/forum/ho...id-error-state

Sorry for the "latent" response...busy times. OK, so yeah, I am confused. I guess this is an HS4-only plug-in? And my issue is with the device viewer for HS3? Sorry, didn't know they were separate. Thank you for the reference, and Happy New Year!

          Ah-HA! It's a Z-Wave thing! Never Mind!

And you missed Jon00's reply, too. But thanks for the effort. Apparently it's specific to Z-Wave, so its of no use to me.

No, it has nothing to do with HS3 or HS4. The device list viewer provides just a list of devices as shown in the first post here: https://forums.homeseer.com/forum/3r...er-4#post91678

The device viewer and documenter provides full information about a device as shown in the first post here: https://forums.homeseer.com/forum/3r...-4#post1371877 These first posts describe their functionality.

No, it's not Z-Wave specific...any device can be marked as invalid. Randy has just shown Z-Wave as an example.

Ah. Ok. In any case, it doesn't have the functionality I imagined, so I'll stick with my current system: Throwing them all in a box and guessing. Thank you!
