    E-Paper display

I've been playing with a Waveshare 4.3 inch e-paper display which I now have working with Homeseer.

Whilst it may not have the greatest looking graphics (4 bit gray) and very slow to update (approx 1.5 secs), it's greatest strength is that you can set the display and then put it to sleep using very little power.

The display can do the following:

    Display text (3 font sizes)
    Draw rectangles (outline and filled)
    Draw circles (outline and filled)
    Draw triangles (outline and filled)
    Draw lines
    Draw points
Display pre-loaded bitmap images (4 bit gray)

If there is any interest, I'll write some documentation for the software (Windows only) and release it. It uses a serial interface which can be connected to any Windows PC on your network.

I could not find a suitable case or bezel for the display so I made one out of pine edging strip which I then painted satin white.

I found a linke to this from another post. I'm definitely interested

I only wish there were larger e-Ink displays. I would like a big one (maybe 20"?) for a system status display somewhere in the house. Really low energy as it only has to refresh when something changes.
