    Thanks for that steer.

I found the issue - the status text had been changed from simple on/off. Changing that meant that it worked - sort of!

What I am now finding is that even when off i sheard, its still the on that it is the on trigger that is actioned.

Text for each is "pond air on" and pond air off" - notice it is trigger17 each time even though Alexa recognises on and off correctly.

It is because Pond contains the word 'on'

You will need to change the mode or not use pond.

        DOH!

I did not see that coming - as I thought it would take full words only, bound by the space as a delimiter....

Will give it a try... not sure "puddle" is a replacement for "pond" though

          How about:
          Enable pond air
          Initiate pond air experience
          Turn on bubblers
          Give air to the fish
          Turn on fountains
          Turn on outside water features

Heck I dunno.... This is why I do not have one of these.... Nah, actually gave up on water features as mosquitoes kept growing in them and burned out several pumps....

Do you think you will develop this for Google Home

I like the Echo but I feel in the long run Google Home will fit better into my family's way of life.

I know Google Home is fairly new and not available world wide but the release date for the UK is second quarter of 2017.

I can't really answer that now as HST have not released anything (yet) to allow Google Home to communicate with Homeseer directly. If the necessary hook is provided then I expect it would be fairly easy to support with modification.

I have every intention in purchasing a Google Home to play around with when released in June.

I'm not sure if Google have left it too late for the UK as the Echo DOT is very popular and potentially half the price of the GH. If they start to insert adverts it will definitely turn many away.

this has worked before and now it doesn't. I have a primary trigger that activates when "change thermostat" is heard. then It ask me what mode do I prefer "Heat or cold" then it should execute command. but now it only says "ok changing to " (heat or cool) what ever is stated

in the logs I get this:

So what action do you have in place for ResponseTrigger7?
                    CAPI control?
Is the device reference number correct?

So have you checked that your thermostat still has a device reference of 899?

I've just noticed that you have the '899,0,Heat' entry under JSON. That could never have worked. Move it to the CAPI field.
