    House Code Assignment?

Just getting HS 2 running on a fresh PC...
Installed the ADIOcelot plugin. When I go to configure it, it indicates "No House Code" and although it lists the units discovered (4 total), no I/O points are displayed on the right...

My 1.7 installation (on another PC), show house codes # and $.

I've looked through the docs and searched the forum but haven't found anything yet.

I've attached a screen shot to clarify...

    Btw, running on HS 2.0.2050.0

OK, I may have a been a bit pre-mature with my previous post. As I stated above, I wasn't getting house codes. I would tick a few variables, click "create and delete variables", and click "Update". When I would come back, none of my variable selections would be present, and still no house codes.

I believe it may have been due to a questionable install of another plug-in prior. I removed the plug-in, rebooted and tried again.

Now I do have house codes and it is remembering the variable selections, however, I still am not getting to set the I/O points, screen shot follows...

I'm not certain what the recovery sequence is for other than a clean install. A few things to try are to change the interface on the General tab, restart and do the same again after changing it back to ADIOcelot. The mapping information is contained in the \Config\settings.ini file. You can post it if you do not have any luck with the restarts

Thanks for the response, Michael. Funny thing is, this was a clean install. In fact, I didn't use the HS Ocelot plug-in at all.

I've posted my settings.ini file hoping it will shed some light on what's going on...

It may be a shot in the dark but have you checked that the "Other" (IO)entry is enabled for the plugin on the HS interface setup screen?

Did you click the button to create the IO devices on the same tab where the IO checkboxes are expected?

Yeah I tried about everything under the sun!

I did finally get it to go. I blew away HS2 several times trying something just a bit different each time.

Eventually, I went ahead and clicked the "Create and Delete I/O Point Devices" for the heck of it even though none were shown, and got 2 messages in the log that it created "Device Input 1" and something else I don't remember right now.

I'd already tried this before, but closed out, went back in, and viola, they appeared with just the first item checked in each column. I checked all the rest and things have been working.

Definitely some installation issues there.... Even after that, whenever I tell the plugin to sync with CMax, HS renames the type of each one the first time it restarts after that from "Interface Variable" to "Interface Variable.1". Whatever.

I'm really trying to stick it out with 2.0..., have mostly run into problems with plug-ins so far.
