  • Question concerning SECU-16I

    I've probably smoked my new unit, but on the hope that I didn't, is the unit polarity sensitive? If so (gulp) what is what? Assuming I haven't nuked it, how do you get the Ocelot to see it?

    Thanks;
    Don

    The power is AC or DC so polarity there should not be an issue. If you connect the COMM A and COMM B to the same on the Ocelot then when the Ocelot plugin initializes it will look for connected units and report it in the list on the main setup page.

        Next question, if I could. The supervised inputs change value, not status; is that true? If so, what values do they hold, how do I create a trigger for a change?

        Thanks again...

          With ADIOcelot I maintain sync between status ON and value <> 0 vs status OFF and value = 0. You can should be able to use either status or value in your triggers. If you want to change a point then hs.SetDeviceValue or hs.ExecX10 should work. I think the HST plugin only uses values for the SECU16I. I think the ocelot returns 0 and 1 for its two point states.
