ADIOcelot configuration

I downloaded the ADIOcelot and nothing happens when I press the configuration buttons. I tried the "Setup" dropdown for ADIOOcelot on the HS log page and just got a log entry of "Select Menu 40". What does this mean? (No windows appeared or were hidden) I tried again from remote desktop with the same results. How do I configure ADIOcelot? Thanks for anh help you can offer.

Another way to get to the same config windows is via the setup|interfaces web page in HS. Have you tried clicking on the config button there and then looking for the config/setup windows.

I tried to access the config window from the hs application menu and from the hs web page setup interface without succes...

Sometimes the window is hidden. When you do click on the "config" button does you HS Event log window hang? If it does, it means the Ocelot window is hidden behind it. You may have to move your HS event log window somewhere off the center before you click on the config button.

I know that sometimes, plugins windows gets hidden behind the hs window. But it's not the case here. The only thing happening when I select the menu is that a new log entry appear with the text "Select menu 40".

That seems strange..

It is strange that you are getting that problem. I take it you are on a current version of HS and the you are using the ocelot version from the updater? I noticed mine has a "newer" tag which means I also downloaded and installed the version on the sticky of this forum. It is version 1.14.4. Did you download the version from the sticky?

I have the same issue. I frequently have to shut down HS, reboot and then try again just to get the window to open up for me. If you do CTRL-ALT-DEL you will see a process running but the window does not appear anywhere.

When I select Config from Setup -> Interfaces in the browser in HomeSeer, I get this in the log:

But no config window opens.

Also, when I try to use the HomeSeer plug-in I get this error:

And, When I use the CMAX software it can monitor the Ocelot and attached SECU16 just fine. I am just trying to get homeseer to see the status of the inputs on the SECU16.

Are you phiscally on the HomeSeer server when you call this config option? If not you will not see the window. This plugin uses an older config screen and not a web page. Also look behind the web page as this is where te config screen will appear.

I am physically on the HomeSeer Server. No other windows appear. I have looked behind the other windows. I am running Vista, the latest version of HomeSeer and the latest version of the plugins from the updater.

I now have the HomeSeer plugin working. Not sure what I did to fix it. after several restarts of both the HomeSeer server and the Ocelot and several iterations of enabling/disabling the plugin, it now works!

Select Menu is the function associated with use of the ADIOcelot setup from the HS Log page. 40 is the line number were the form with the setup settings is loaded. It should only be displayed in the log on an error conditions and the description of the error should follow the 40.

From the same page as the HS Log as I believe you have done. It may be that some control is being used on the form that is not loaded on your computer, but if no error message is displayed then I do not have any suggestions.

The most common problems with the plugin is the Interface name that should be set to ADIOcelot rather than the Applied Digital Ocelot used by the HST plugin when running HS2. When running HS1 then there are advantages of not changing it.

The second is that when the menu selection is made, the center of the desktop needs to be clear of other HS browser windows so it is not hidden behind the other window.
