How to learn IR Commands

Ok got the plugin working again.. Just had to uninstall and reinstall and clean up the settings.ini file..

anyone have an ideas??? wonder if my ocelot went back??

I went to try it now and nothing works...... no popup.. i cant even go into the configuration. I have done nothing to the configuration...

I've tried to unistall the plugin and reinstall.. i can connect through cmax.... but the secu-16ir doesnt show up anymore in cmax

the start up looks like it is not seeing it. This is my log

Its not even seeing the SECU-16IR connected anymore... do i need to clear out my ocelot??? how do i do a complete reset of the ocelot or does anyone have any ideas. Thanks much...

I have used the Ocelot plugin to learn IR codes. it does work, but is a little tricky. can you provide some screen shots? also, what version of HS are you running?

Three ideas. Use CMAX rather than HS to learn IR. Confirm remote provides an IR encoding that can be recognized by Ocelot. If the problem is too much IR intensityfrom remote then place single tissue over ocelot IR receiver LED.

My message never goes away. the message says to press a key to learn but then it also says to press ok to start learning... I've tried all types and kinds of remotes and it will not learn any... my ocelot is completely empty....

When the message pops up you press the button on the remote to learn. If it learns the code the message goes away.

Hows exactly do i learn IR commands in homeseer? I click learn and a popup comes up that says press ok to learn. Do i press the remote button before i press ok? Do i press the remote button after i hit ok? Do i press and hold the remote button and then click ok?? The ocelot seems to blink 3 times green, and then i click send... my IR Emitters blink twice but the the device doesnt response like the correct IR didn't get learned... Any ideas? Thanks
