    Barometer and what to expect

I built a barometer, and plugged it in without going through any calibration steps (my typical approach - I'll go back and calibrate later). It looks to me like it must include a temp sensor as well, but the temp readings are very high (80 - 90 degrees F where other temp sensors in the room read low 70s). The barometric pressure reading has been the same for the 12 hours since I connected it - seems unlikely, so maybe it's broken.

The color chart refuses to show any values for it - is that because it hasn't changed at all? The line chart finally began to register this morning - for the first hour it didn't show anything, and in fact wouldn't display a Y axis for it. Now I have a reasonable range on the Y axis (on the right as expected).

This is a version 3 JJ barometer - anybody have any experience with it? Is the apparent temp sensor really something else?

No barometer experience. The color chart min and max values are the same so no data will displayed. The line chart should display data if two x-axis pixels are available in the dataset. On a 6 hour scale that should only take 10 minutes with your 5 min Temp05 interval.

The temp sensor is built into the DS2438. I have empirically found (20 sample DS2438's) that this temp sensor consistently reads higher than co-located DS18S20 sensors. If anyone has a different experience, I would like to know about it - perhaps I have a bad batch of DS2438's.

it looks like an even 20 degrees higher than several co-located DS18S20s.
