Does mcsTemperature support DS1401E

Hi all,
Just a quick question.

I have downloaded and searched the documentation for this plugin but cannot see any reference to the parallel port 1-wire port driver, DS1401E. Can this plugin be used with it?

I bellieve so, but I have not actually confirmed. The feeling I get from the usegroups is that the design of this interface is marginal so it will work with "ideal" networks only.

The ability of the plugin to support it and the quality of the signal it provides are two different issues. Give it a try. Treat it like a DS9097 from the setup perspective. It will detect whatever is used by the ibutton viewer as your default interface. Version 4.4 of the plugin will actually poll 15 USB and 15 COM ports for additional interfaces beyond the default.

Ok, thanks. I am currently using the 1-wire plugin by Pete Garyga but it seems a bit temperamental.

I may give the mcsTemperature a go then.
