    No longer updating

I just added some new weather devices to mcsTemp (from virtual devices), now no longer getting any new entries updated/displayed. I remapped 1 virtual device (changed X12 to W1), and added several new. I turned on general logging, and see the following (note the syntax error at the end):

Even the untouched original temperatures are not updating. I am not sure where the problem is. Am I correct in assuming the virtual devices can contain text after the numerical value? (example my original house temperature contains xx degrees F, in mcsTemperature is shows as xx - like it ignores the text afterwards).

    Any ideas appreciated!

    Working now

I finally got all my new devices to display correctly in mcsTemp...

I removed all the new devices, and the old ones started working again. One problem here, when I removed them from mscTemperature, the devices themselves were deleted from HS!!

I then created duplicate devices, but stripped all text after the numeric values. When I re-entered them in mcsTemp, they all started working!

So, I guess you CAN'T have any text following the numeric values. Is there an easy way to prevent having to have duplicate devices, if I still want to have them have text after the numbers?
