    HS2 can't create my graphs.

With hs 2.0, I'm having trouble setting up mcstemp.

All I use it for is some temps read from the one wire network, and my water usage from the one wire network.

I see the current temps / water usage, however I can't get a graph to generate to save my life.

I remember it was really easy on ver 1.7, I think I'm missing page that allows you to add or remove sensors from a graph. Can anyone explain this process a little better becuase I'm missing a step. Maybe also note the URL that the browser is pointing to would help me out.

From the menu select Groups to get to the page that allow you to select the sensors that comprise a chart. Name the group something other than Default. This new group will then appear on the pulldown on the menu. The URL is always http://localhost:/Temperature.asp with querystring parameters to identify the specific page of interest.

If you just copied your mcsTemperature.ini from 1.7 then this should already be setup.

      Joe,

The web link for the charts is http://homeseer/temperature.asp
And if memory serves correctly you have to access the config page of MCSTemp and create a trend group selecting your devices you want together.

I think my main problem was that the "edit" in the dropdown never took me to the edit trend groups page becuase it won't fire a postback if it's the only option since it's already selected.

I finally found the trend groups in the main homeseer menu (not web based) and it brought up the webpage that I was looking for so hard

        hehe well... easy fix right.

        not so fast.

it's giving me an error in my homeseer log file

That message occurs when there is no data in the database to support the requested set of lines. Analog data that has been collected should not presente a problem. Digital data is only collected on transitions and the merge of analog and digital on the same chart is the most complex.

Make certain you have database fields defined on the setup page for any signal you are trying to graph. Also make certain the transfer to database checkbox on the Interface/Main page is enabled.

            Excellent, thank you.

I guess I didn't have database fields defined for any of my sensors.
