    Hi,

I have never seen a "NG" come up for one of my sensors - here is what I get when I do a DIS:

    10:45:28 | [Sent to Temp05: DIS ]
    01 9A0000001532F126 DS2438 OK P H
    10:45:28 | 02 1C00000000EA1A20 DS2450 OK P
    10:45:28 | 03 D00000000155B41D DS2423 OK P W
    10:45:28 | 04 A0000800B1C10410 DS1820 OK P
    10:45:28 | 05 C700080014146410 DS1820 OK P
    10:45:28 | 06 CE00000005B9B11D DS2423 OK P R
    10:45:28 |
    Update interval = 02 minutes
    10:45:29 | Temp display = C
    10:45:29 | Serial # display = On
    10:45:29 | Wind dirn reverse = Off
    10:45:29 | Debug = Off
10:45:29 | Some temp sensors Parasitic powered
    Qty of DS1820=02
    Qty of DS1822=00
    Qty of DS18B2=00
    Qty of DS2438=01

As soon as I exit the I/O stream this appears in my HS log:

    01/11/2005 10:45:29 - mcsTemperature - Sensor CE00000005B9B11D is known to Temp05 as type DS2423 N but known by mcsTemperature as type W

Everything appears to be working OK - so I don't think it is a problem, just a bit puzzling!

    Cheers,

    Steve

I discovered the problem to be the logic to treat the Ligntning counter as a Water Flow (N) counter. V4.39.2 should take care of it.

        Thanks Michael,

Just installed new version of MCSTemp (along with HS 2.2003) and can confirm that the "N" problem has been fixed.

        Cheers,

        Steve
