Recently I upgraded to Homeseer 2, now my ds9097 cannot seem to find the com port. Has anyone encountered this problem?

No problem here, running mcs temp and it works fine. what are you using to read the device ? Dont forget its serial, a reboot with it installed may help.

Was the install on the same computer where the one-wire drivers were installed or a new one? Did you poll for ports from the setup page and it came back with an empty port box?Comment

Yes I polled for ports and the box came up empty. I'm able to see the devices using the Dallas Semi java app. It was the same machine, it actually worked at first and now for some reason it won't. I've tried reloading the plug in to no avail.Comment

What OS are you running? Have you done anything with the JavaVM in the recent past? Here is the link to the 1-wire drivers I'm using. You can reinstall them. The java ibutton viewer uses different drivers so it is usefull to isolate hw problems, but not software ones.
