Can't get mcsTemp up and running properly under HS2

    Hi Michael,

I finally took the plunge and updated to HS2. Now I'm having a few issues getting mcsTemp (my favourite app and probably the only reason I keep coming back to HS), so I hope you can help me.

I did a brand new install of Windows XP Pro and HS2 on top of that. I took the option to import the old config file and I moved the mcstemperature.ini file over from the old system.

Now ... I was getting somewhere and I had forecast.asp running, but now after installing a few more plug ins and a bit more config I can only get :

Script error: Object variable or With block variable not set. Response.Write hs.plugin("mcsTemperature").ForecastASP(request, response)

Doesn't sound like I'm even getting past first base now.

    Any help gratefully received.

    Duncan

Different versions of HS2 react differently to plugin objects. If you look at \HTML\temperature.asp you will see three different techniques to deal with the different HS2 versions. I applied the same approach to forecast.asp in the attached. Change the name to .asp from .txt.
