    Support for Hobby Boards Hub

    Michael,
    Have installed mcsTemperature V6 ( +MSJVM, Drivers, Charting ) - all okay -- but

mcsTemp recognizes the Hobby Board master hub as a DS9097U but does not recognize any attached sensors. The master hub uses DS2409 chips to control the six hubs which connect to the sensors.

    Homeseer log shows
    10/7/2009 2:20:10 PM mcsTemperature DS9x9x Port : Port= Address=3100000003D87B1F Family=DS2409
    10/7/2009 2:20:10 PM mcsTemperature DS9x9x Port : Port= Address=5C00000003E38E1F Family=DS2409
    10/7/2009 2:20:10 PM mcsTemperature DS9x9x Port : Port= Address=1800000003D9821F Family=DS2409

So, does the plugin support the hub ? If it does - any suggestions as to what I might have messed up ?

Thanks in advance for your help

    Bruce

The 1-wire hub is supported by xapmcs1Wire and not mcsTemperature http://board.homeseer.com/showthread.php?t=101056. The data from xapmcs1wire is interfaced to HS via mcsXap plugin http://board.homeseer.com/showthread.php?t=119121 and also requires use of an xAP hub such as http://board.homeseer.com/showthread.php?t=109125 with some setup documentation at http://board.homeseer.com/showthread.php?t=113939
