"control inactive" for some virtual devices

I am a new user, using mcstemp for monitoring and graphing status of phidgits concerned with a solar system and I am still getting the phidgits all installed.

In the meantime, I would like to get the weather page to work. I am almost there see attached pic except that the current temperature, humidity, baro, uv/rain information is not populating the weather page (attached).

For some reason devices R1-R7 have "control inactive" as the device status (attached) and I assume this is the reason these devices are not populating the weather page. I can not figure how to change the status for these devices. Also I have two devices related to the "original plugin version" What are they about?

When I hit get forecast button, I get several of the following errors in the hs log file:

    2/26/2010 8:03:18 AM Error Web Server Error 404, cannot serve file: C:\Program Files\HomeSeer HS2\html/images/weather/.gif

And the following entries in the debug file for mcstemp:

problem resolved by switching to weatherxml

well, anyway, I worked around the problem by installing the weatherxml plugin, and then switching to weatherxml data file from the nws feed on the forecast page. All the forecast data is now populated in the weather page and in the hs virtual devices.
