tenHS desktop and MCStemp

I am setting up tenHS desktop (which is a very nice and elegant way of displaying much of the information you want from HS in a very compact form on your desktop). I also use MCStemp. In the example configuration given for tenHS desktop at http://www.tenholder.net/tenWare2/te...ceDisplay.aspx he makes use of a device that evidently comes with MCSsprinklers called "forecast icon" which shows the sun in the various forecasted states for the next 5 days. I don't have sprinklers but have MCStemp and there must be a similar device in mcstemp as my weather tab in msctemp displays the same kinds of icons and temperature information that tenHS is showing on the link above (scroll down the long page). But I can't find this device "forecast icon" in my installation of MCStemp. Is there such a device and can I use it with tenHS desktop like he is doing with sprinklers?? Can I create such a device in MSCtemp?

On the forecast setup you have the ability to ask mcsTemperature to populate the forecast information into virtual devices. There is no 5-day device, but there are 5 1-day devices and each of these will have the forecast icon and textual value for the forecast.

Right, I have done that in the forecast tab of mcstemp checked all the devices. But when I look at those devices in HS status page there are no icons showing up. Just a circle with a dot in it, that is the only icon I see. The devices I see involve temperature, distance, index, barometer, humidty, wind speed. I don't see any forecaste icons such as the suns. I have attached two PICS (top and bottom) of the forecast tab of mcstemp.

On the mcsTemperature Devices/Files page you have setting for formatting the devices. If you want the icons then you need to make selection for HTML formatting.

I tried that, I believe you mean on the display tab, right? I restarted HS and still no icons for mcstemp devices. Thx

Yes the Display tab. The icons are only produced when the device is updated. A restrart of HS will not have an effect. Need to wait until the forecast input changes.

Can you post a pic of your tenHsDesktop display when you have it configured?

I will post screenshot but it will be a few weeks until I get tenHS set up with the weather as I am going on vacation. I do love tenHS desktop!
