    Temp Database

Mike, I just changed HS to another computer and have just transferred all my files from the old HS to the fresh install.

After that install and transfer, I then checked and seen the updater put the plugin in another folder of its own. (hs2 instead of HSPro).

Your plugin works and I see all my old virtual devices in the fresh install but don't see any of the old data.

Where and how can I transfer all the old data collected to the fresh computer?

    Thanks

    Charlie

When installing the plugin it prompts for the HS folder. I suggest you reinstall it into the same location as HS. The database location is a user-defined entry on the setup pages. It will typically be in HS folder or the \Data subfolder if Access is the database used. If SQL Server then it should be able to find it if the server name provided.

      Thanks Mike,

I've going back and looking to move all my Databases to my Non OS disk.

In MCS Temp on the "Database" tab there are file references for Sensor & Forecast files such as "mcsTemperature.mdb".

If I shut down HS, can I move that file to my Non OS disk and put a file path in the Database tabs in your plugin?

If not how can I move the DBs?
