I would like to implement my home automation system with RFID technology.
Near my home there is a vendor that offers this RFID reader:

It is a different protocol with a 64 bit packet vs. the smaller packet used by the CheaperRFID hardware. I suspect the quality is better as it does contain some integrity checks in the data packet. I have no need for any other RFID solution.
