    mcsxapTemp0x V2.0.0 & Hydreon Optical Rain Sensor

    Hello Michael,

I am testing the new Hydreson Optical Rain sensor with a "spare" Temp08 I have around. I have it plugged into a Hobby boards dual counter which is plugged into a Quatech box which is configured to work with a spare W2003 server.

That said I see have the dip switches on the Opteron device set to the middle sensitivity range. Dips set for Tipping Bucket size =0.001.

I can see the counters incrementing on the Temp08 as I reset them to zero when I installed the device.

I do not see the numbers incrementing though with the mcsxapTemp0x application.

The status though is updating. Is there a way to adjust the bucket rate in the Temp0x similiar to the 1-wire application?

Doesn't the Temp08 have the abilty to set the count magnitude when a DS2423 has been configured for Rain?

No it doesn't. It looks to be statically configured in the Temp08 firmware. Probably the Dallas Tipping bucket standard. I can only do a reset of the HB dual counters with it. (RST#Device)
