I'm going to try the arduino plugin. Those boards are a lot cheaper and you have to add relay boards anyway, so why not.

FYI been playing this weekend with an Arduino Yun with MQTT. Wrote a simple sketch using the Adafruit Yun MQTT example where I can trigger inputs and publish them to an MQTT server I have running locally. The HS3 MQTT plugin can pick it up and it's virtual instantaneous.

Thanks for the reply. Besides there's an error in the log every time my ADIO input triggers, it seems HS3 plugin has a lag with reading inputs that I didn't have on HS2. When using it to trigger an image from a CCTV camera, a lag means the difference of seeing and not seeing what passed by the camera Looking for something with less lag.

I ended up blowing my outputs up on my ADIO when hooking up a relay board. Stupid me.

I opened it up and saw there is no protection from the PIC microprocessor inside, so you don't get any second chances of a slip up.

I reached out to HS support to buy a new PIC or have them repair it outside of warranty (pay for the services). They said all they can do is sell me a new entire unit. So mind your ADIO out there! I wouldn't buy one again BTW.

Anyone know how to delete the plugin for it?
