    Hi Guys,
im trying to connect a Thermistor to my Arduino to measure some temps. iv got it connected and reading values but not shore on the math.

it has a range from -20 to 105 so a variable of 125
if an analog input has a range of 0 to 1023
would adding (value/125)-20 to the sum area allow me to read the temp

    thanks

I think that your analog input readings are depending of your circuit in which Thermistor is connected. Constant current for Thermistor is critical for precise reading without fluctuating values.

      Does this help?

      https://learn.adafruit.com/thermisto...g-a-thermistor

What is the voltage output range that will go to the analog input?

        Hi,
yeah that's how i have it connected.
im getting a value back in the 600 range most of the time.
i think i have it wired correctly it would just be the math i dont understand.

        thanks
