Board type "NodeMCU" not available

I am running ver 1.0.0.157 of the Arduino plugin on a RasPi with HS3. I have ver 1.6.8 of the Arduino IDE and have downloaded and installed the latest libraries (but the http://arduino.esp8266.com/staging/p...com_index.json link is giving a 404 error so I used http://arduino.esp8266.com/stable/pa...com_index.json instead - I do have the "NodeMCU 1.0 (ESP-12E Module)" selected as the board type. I am familiar with NodeMCU development using the Arduino IDE...

When I add a new board, my only choices for type are "Arduino" and "Arduino API"...no NodeMCU is available.

Thoughts?

This looks to be a Linux problem I will see what I can do but I am busy for the next couple of days.

Just did a quick check and when I did the update the old .exe is still loaded. try restarting your system.

That was it! I restarted and everything is working as-expected. I did notice, BEFORE I restarted my system, that the status line on top of the Arduino Plugin Config page:

"Arduino Plugin created by Greig DempsterEnigmatheatre). V1.0.0.157. / Click Here for the Help File."

was displaying the previous version of the plugin, even though I knew I had installed the beta.
