    One-wire not connecting

When I connecting an Arduino board by USB One-Wire temperature sensors work good. If I try to use IP with a network card, board connects but no temperatures show up. Have tried Uno and Mega boards. What am I doing wrong? I would like multiple boards to be connected.

Which Arduino board? What pin are you using for OneWire?

Using either Uno or Mega on input 3

If by input 3 you mean digital input pin 3, that should work. I use pin 23 on my 4 Megas, but any digital pin should work. There are some pins blocked by the Ethernet shield. They are 10-13 IIRC.

Yes, digital input 3. I just tried input 23, as well, no difference. I'm wondering if I have setup IP correctly. Is IP address the same as Homeseer or a different one? Is MAC address random or should it be something specific?

The plug-in assigns arbitrary MAC addresses. You have to pick an open IP within your subnet to assign to the board. The plug-in cannot detect conflicts, so you have to pick an open one.

Ok, it looks like its connected but I'm still not getting any temperature readings. After being connected for a few minutes, it comes back with connection failed.

Can you get me a debug file so I can see what is wrong. Please do the following:
                1. Go to the plugin settings page and then check the debug tick box.
                2. Go to the board in the device manager and press connect.
                3. wait 5min.
                4. Go back to the settings page and turn off debugging
                5. click the link that is created on that page to download the debug file.
                6. There is an email link at the top of that page. Click it and Send the debug file to me.
                7. Post here to say you have sent it.

garypcollins@rogers.com I sent you a reply did you get it? I was also confused about the post as this is for the HS3 version of the plugin but you are running the HS4. Please Post Here
