I cant add a board. error adding new board=do not set image directly

I'm trying to get my arduinos working again and on HS4 4.2.14.0 I get that error - I've apparently tried 6 times so far
Arduino-4 Error Error=Exception in AddNewBoard: Do not set Image Directly.

I'm trying to add this as a usb device. any help!?

Ok I found threads on this and will try the beta. Will post an update.

We've been building a new house for the past 2 years. I've been out of the loop badly it seems. I should have posted this in the HS4 section sorry but I've got my arduino up and running on the beta version without issue.

Now if I could only find a reasonable wiring solution that works with the ethernet shield....
