Raspberry PI that works with the Arduino Plugin is in beta.

    Hi Greig,
I have with my father (his is a programmer) created a program that works with your plugin. but on a Raspberry PI.

It is programmed in Pyton and is in beta at the moment - but it works.
If you are interested can have the code for distribution and sharing in the Homeseer community.

It works with your version 1.0.0.36

Basically it is a pyton transcript of you API sketch.
Ie. it opens a connection to your plugin an simulates an Arduinio API board.

You then have to program your own stuff in the RPI Pyton-code to communicate with the Devices created in your pluginpage.

          no idea.

Now it is there and the Arduino plugin is quite nice so we used that as the host for getting data.

Nice job mate......that I would be interested in. I've been buying various arduino boards and having mixed results with them working....

I'm playing with some NFC code on an arduino to use for access control, using a PI with API like code could be a better alternative :-)

            Cheers..Pete

I wrote a python script that communicates with HS via the JSON and command interface. It is not really a plugin, but does the job nicely

This sounds exactly what I'm looking for. I'm trying to keep hs running on Windows, but access the gpio ports of multiple pi's on the network. Did anyone get this working?
