Advanced Ethernet Settings

If I enable Advanced Ethernet Settings, do I have to download and upload a new sketch?

I've got an Arduino Ethernet Shield V2 and per the schematic A0 and A1 are not used on the shield (since the micro SD slot doesn't support write protect or card presence). I'd like to be able to use these pins, as well as D4. From what I can tell Advanced Ethernet Settings will allow that. I'm I off base here?

You can enable advanced Ethernet settings without uploading a new sketch. It just enables the hidden pins in the board configuration page.
