  • which 1wire controler to choose for my home?

    Hi
    I begin my 1wire network

    I have :

    - 1 primary trunk bus with 2 stars:
    first star: 3 DS18B20 + 1 DS2438 (https://www.cartelectronic.fr/capteu...ite-1wire.html)
    second star: 3 DS18B20 + 1 DS2438
distance from server to first star=2m (and 25m to the end of sensor)
distance from server to second star=35m (and 10m to the end of sensor)

    - external and dedicated 5V power supplied

    - HS3 with RS232 port available, also USB port available

    - win 7

I have DS9490R, but it is not compatible with ULTRA1WIRE Jhoon

Which interface controler do I prefer to buy (more efficient/less expensive) ? HA7E is it the best choice?

Excuse me for my poor english

What did you end up going with? I use the HA7E with an Embedded Data Systems JB3 hub for 6 runs that support 8 temp sensors.

      Hi mnsandler,

      I finally buy a HA7E, with 2 x JB6 for hub star.
DS18B20 works good but DS2438 doesn't see from HA7E and plugin.
