    EDS OW-ENV-THPL - Temperature / Humidity / Barometric Pressure & Light Sensor

I just got my hands on the new OW-ENV-THPL - Temperature / Humidity / Barometric Pressure & Light Sensor. When connected to the EDS OW-Server (ethernet or WiFi), I'll be able to track the following data:

    Temperature
    Humidity
    DewPoint
    Humidex
    HeatIndex
    BarometricPressureHg
    LED State
    Relay State
    Light Lux Value

I will be adding support for the new EDS sensors (when used with the EDS OW-Server) to the Ultra1Wire2 HSPI.

I'll post more information when I have time to do a write-up.

The 1-Wire sensors are listed here:

    Hey Ultra -
I just received one of these EDS sensors and was just wondering how the support in Ultra1Wire2 is coming along?
Also, you mention in the previous post "When connected to an OW-Server..." what about supporting the OW-ENV sensors on an HA7NET? The EDS website states they will work and I can see my OW-ENV-TH sensor on the bus from the HA7NET web gui. But of course Ultra1Wire2 isn't showing it, but I'm hoping your going to tell me support is coming soon.

    Thanks for your help.
    Great plugins by the way!

It looks like it will be possible. I just sent an e-mail to EDS requesting more details on how to obtain the data using the HA7Net.

By the way, I already added support for this sensor using the OW-Server.

Any update on support of the OW-ENV-TH sensor when using HA7NET?

          Thanks!

The information I received from EDS indicates it is not going to be easy to read the EDS-OW-EVN-THPL using the HA7Net. However, I do have the information and an extra sensor and plan to add support for this sensor.

Just trying you plugin with one of these sensors and a couple of questions.

Can you add support for Pressure millibar

Also are you going to add support for status/control for the relay and LED.

              Thanks.

                Outside use

                Hi,
Great sensor and maybe the solution I'm looking for to load environmental data into Homeseer.

Only thing is I would like to use it outside, is there any way to accomplish this with this sensor?

                Thanks

You'll have to ask the vendor (sales@edsproducts.com) if this sensor can be installed outside.

I'll add a option called "Unit Type", with the options "US customary units" and "Metric system units". When "US customary units" is select, it will use Inches Of Mercury and when "Metric system units" it will use Millibars.

                            Light

                            Hi,

Just curious. In the posts including a screenshot the lightsensor always equals zero lux. Is the sensor held in the dark?

                            Kind regards,
                            Marck

The sensors are installed in my basement and my son's room. There is no natural light in either place
