Morning! Thanks for working on this plug-in.

In order to control the XAP800, does it have to be directly connected to the HS3 computer? I currently have the XAP800 connected to a different computer, but they're all networked together.

    Thanks!

        Awesome, thank you sir!

I think I have that part working correctly, but I'm not sure what to do next to test it.

Am I on the right path?

Trying to figure out how to control which input goes to which output.

        Thanks!

There is only 1 parameter for Flow control

Here is a document I used to build the control in the plugin

Ok, I don't seem to know what I'm doing.

Do I need to do something to connect (open the COM port) to the XAP800 first? Or can I just start sending it commands with events as soon as your plug-in is running? (and the device added to your device screen).

Could you give me a simple event to run so I can test communication?

It has been a while since I looked at this but you need to add devices tot he plugin first. That is where you enter the com port number where the device is located

I am not at home so I am going off of memory

Did you have an opportunity to come up with a test for me to run to check if it's working? I have added the device to the plugin, just need a way to test now!

                Thanks!

One you have the device added, you can create an event in HS3 and pick the BLAudioMatrix actions. Have you tried creating an event in HS3 using the plugin action

yes, in my example above, I tried, but wasn't able to get any feedback to know if it worked (or if I set it up correctly).

Do you have a simple event/action that I could perform to know if it works?

There is no devices in the plugin to show any status. It is still beta.
You should be able to use the event actions to send commands to it

Has anyone else tried the plugin yet?
                      Cheers,

                        Ok, I think I found a simple command to try--Mute Output 3.

Do I have the event setup correctly?

                        Log when I click run:
                        Code:
May-16 2:12:45 PM Event Event Trigger "Whole House Audio Mute Output 3"
May-16 2:12:45 PM Event Event Whole House Audio Mute Output 3 triggered by the event page 'Run' button.
Output is not muted when I click run.

                          Events looks ok
Turn on debug logging on the plugin options page, then run the event, then turn off debug logging and attach the BLAudioMatrix-Detailed.log file zipped.
                          Cheers,

                              Can you do the following:

                              1. Shutdown HS3
                              2. Delete the old debug log (BLAudioMatrix-Detailed.log) from your HS root folder
                              3. Edit hspi_BLAudioMatrix.ini and change debugLevel=true and save INI file
                              4. Restart HS3

Once it is started, run the event again and then turn off debug logging
Attach the new debug log zipped
                              Cheers,
