AVR-2313CI - How to control with serial?

    Hi,

My AVR-2313CI network adapter stopped working a long time ago. Now, I'm trying to control it from serial.

In the BLDenon plunging page, I choose connection type RS232. The plugin keep asking me to enter an IP address...

Is it possible to control my receiver with RS232? If yes, how?

    Stef

When you pick RS232 it should let you put in the com port number
Can you show me a screenshot of what you are seeing
    Cheers,
    Bob

OK I need a debug log to see what is happening
        Do this first:

        https://forums.homeseer.com/forum/3r...-debug-logging

        Then do the following:

        1. Disable BLDenon
        2. Edit the hspi_BLDenon.ini and change debugLevel=true
        3. Save INI file
        4. Restart BLDenon

Once the plugin has run for a minute or so turn off debug logging in the plugin options page

Upload the BLDenon-Detailed.log zipped to my cloud

        Cheers,

Yes. I saw it also after uploading it to you. I'll try to find why.

It's finally working. I had to configure it for TCP, not RS232. Thank you for your help!

                    Hi Blade,

The Main zone is woking both way. But for zone 2, the plugin can control the Denon 2313ci but if power or source is changed from the remote, nothing happen in HS...

Is there something missing in the setup?

                    Thanks

Capture a debug log of you changing the source from the remote and then give it a minute, then disable debug logging and attach the debug log zipped
                      Cheers,

Hi Blade, I've upload the log file. I did a few commands in that order: Zone2 power on, Zone2 input change to CBL/SAT, DVD, AUX and CD. After that I did a Zone2 power off.

Yep sorry - forgot I gave you the cloud link (you are the only one that has it)
I see errors in your log
I will need to study the log and see what is happening
                              Cheers,
