Well it seems to work for you, in my case it just locks up my denon web site , and doesn't respond at all anymore, while the other denon plugin does respond. But both dont allow different naming conventions of the amp. I renamed 1 of them to XBMC for instance..

Port issues with BLDenon and AVR5308CI
Hi, I can't seem to get BLDenon to communicate with my Denon 5308. Theoretically it should work since It seems to work with the 4308.
My confusion is over the port assignment. The other Denon plug-in for HS works but the BL version is MUCH nicer and more functional.
The other DenonAVR plug-in does not need any port configuration.
That being said I did assign a port to the BLDenon plug-in and configured my router to give that port access to my HS computer but still nothing.
Any ideas?
