  • Failed to connect after connection restart

    BLDenon lost everyday the connection exactly on the time that is set with the option "Receiver Connection Restart Times"

    Directly after that time I see in the log the error "BLDenon failed to connect to the Denon Receiver on 192.168....."

    Disable and enable the plugin and the error is gone.

    Problem is started after the last update of BLDenon.

    How can I solve this problem or is there a way to switch of that option ?

              I believe I added a restart ability on the options page
              Have you tried that?

                Hello Bob,

                Yes, you added the abilities for 2 restart time moments.
                But in my case the error starts exactly on that moment.
                (See also my first question.)

                So when I set the restart time at 10:00 PM then the error starts at 10:00 PM and when I change the restart time just before 10:00 PM to (for example) 5:00 PM i have no error on 10:00 PM but the next day at 5:00 PM.

                So your restart options causes my errors and I have to switch off and on the plugin every day to solve the errors and after that the plugin is working again wthout errors till the next restart moment.

                Perhaps can you add a on/off switch for the restarting option

                    Is there a way to NOT have the PI reset the connection status? I have two Denon receivers and one of them could do with a regular restart but the other is fine.

                    Could there perhaps be a restart yes/no tick box per receiver?
