Volume only off by factor of 2

I am testing this for a friend who I am setting up.
    He has an Only TX-NR757.

Controls seem to be working but the volume is maxing out at 50% (per the OSD).

I can increase it until homeseer says it is at 100 but the OSD shows it at 50% and the actual volume confirms this. The behavior is consistent all the way down. (at 50% in HS the OSD display shows 25%)

    Any suggestions?

      I must have missed this
Can you capture me a debug log of this happening

Contact Mark at HST and ask him to extend the trial for your friend
      Cheers,
      Bob

Okay I have the trial reactivated.
I've attached the detail log where I increased the volume via an event that increases the volume 2 clicks per event. It works fine until I hit 50 then it won't go any higher. I can decrease and it responds but nothing I do gets the volume past 50.

If I use the Onkyo factory remote I can go past 50 as expected.

OK I will take a look and let you know
I have an Onkyo so I will try and duplicate this

Any update on this? I have 3 days left in the 2nd trial and it is still doing it the same way.

I have tried connecting 2 different ways (directly via wifi and via RS232 and a Global Cache iTach device) and they both work the same way.

Volume on the receiver only goes to 50.

              Bump?

I am back onsite tomorrow and would love to get a resolution to this so he can start using the plugin.

              Thanks,
              Darren

Can you send me a screenshot of the receiver edit page in the plugin

What is the master volume level dropdown set to?
What are you volume levels set to?
                Cheers,
                Bob

                  Here you go.
Let me know what you think.
                  Cheers!
                  Darren

(I currently have it communicating via the Global Cache iTach serial adapter.)

Hmmm I see the volume changes in your debug log coming in properly
I have my master volume dropdown set to the other one
                    Cheers,

yeah it seems to adjust okay.
Not sure if I tried the other setting in the drop down or not.
I will try the other setting in the morning and let you know.

(actually I think the trial expired again - may not be able to test tomorrow....)

I am back to trying to get this to work properly.
In homeseer it still shows the volume at 100 but on the receiver itself it is showing 50.

Here is the detail of the Volume control in HS. Does this correct?

That is what mine looks like
I will do some testing on mine and see if I can see the same thing here
                            Cheers,

                              Any update on this Blade?

I also have an older Onkyo receiver so I installed the plugin in my own environment to test and it seems to work fine. (and I like it better than the serial plugin I am currently using so I will probably buy this for myself.)

I am going to be back onsite Friday to my friend's house so it would be great if you have any insight on this.

                              Thanks!
