This Problem is now fixed. I ended up replacing the Amp which started having other problems. New Amp works fine.
I have the Denon 3808 with latest firmware update running hs2 with Vista SP1.
The Volume control function will not work with the RS232 or Ethernet connection. Power on and off works in both modes. I do get the following error even when turning the Power on or off as well as trying to adjust the volume.
3/24/2009 7:49:21 PM - DenonAVR Error - Denon power must be on before SetInputAVR() can be executed.
Any suggestions to get full functionality would be appreciated.
